Saturday in the Park

THE BIG EVENT at the Cove

Saturday August 23, 2025 • 5PM – 10PM
Normandy Park Community Club: “The Cove”
1500 SW Shorebrook Dr., Normandy Park

OK. We’re talkin’ relaxed. Nothing formal for this class after 50 years away. Come comfortable and come with your stories to tell.

But most of all, just come and have a blast. Make new memories at this casual dinner together. Enjoy good food, rich conversation, your favorite 70s music and more. Reconnect with old friends and make new ones.

As we iron out details, we’ll post them here as well as on social media and in email. Keep your Pirate eyes peeled!

Friday Night or Sunday?

Small Group Get Togethers

We, your Reunion Committee, are working so hard to plan the Saturday night Big Event, that we don’t have space on the gangplank to also plan a Friday night event…

BUT! We suggest that Grade School classmates plan their own gatherings on the Reunion Weekend. Friday night? Saturday Lunch? Sunday Picnic?

How about a gathering of classmates from Sunnydale, Lake Burien, St. Francis, Chelsea Park, Sylvester, Seahurst… You get the idea! Wanna see your old buddies from way-back-when? Get ’em together!

Drop a line to the Reunion Committee with the details of your get-together and we’ll broadcast it so more of your classmates know about it.

Sad to See Them Go

Sobering that we’ve lost so many classmates, listed HERE.

The Trusty Reunion Committee

“What?! We’re doing this AGAIN?!” Planning the reunion is a real labor of Pirate Love (and craziness?) WHO would DO this? Apparently, these and other classmates have stepped up to walk the plank and fly the pirate flag for our 50-Year Reunion.

Some of the many committee tasks:
  • Cat Herding & Bean Counting – Meetings, treasure chest oversight
  • Lost & Found – Finding missing classmates
  • In Memoriam – Honoring our deceased classmates
  • Decorations – Table and room decor
  • Marketing, Graphic & Web Design – Imagery, web site, social media
  • Cheerleading – Whipping up enthusiasm and adding two-cents’ worth
