In Memoriam: Jon Walker

“What is the one thing people close to Jon Walker know? He loved monster movies. This guy had every film in the genre. Bruce Yeager and Jon Walker were buddies growing up. I was the third wheel. In the early 80’s we both took jobs at Martin Marietta in Denver, CO. We did the skiing and hiking you just gotta do in the Rockies. Jon moved back to Seattle and took a job with Boeing, then followed his dream of opening a video store in Burien specializing in… Monster Movies!!! Jon was a good soul. Unfortunately he struggled with depression his entire adult life. Jon is often in my thoughts.”
