Frank L. Reynolds

“Just read about the passing of Frank Reynolds. My heart goes out to his family. My memories of Frank are from 10th Grade when Lesley Reno and I both had a big crush on him. Frank was so good looking and so popular, we knew we didn’t have a chance even to speak to him. He had no idea that Lesley and I had a crush on him. We use to pass notes to each other every day, commenting on what Frank was wearing and how cool he looked, or who we saw him talking to in the halls, or just to say, “WOW!” Lesley and I were very shy and didn’t want anyone to know about our crush, not even Frank! So, we made up a code name for him, so in case either of us lost one of our notes and someone found them, they wouldn’t know who we were talking about. Frank’s code name was “foil” (as in Reynold’s Foil). How original! If you would have found one of our notes you would have read things like, “I saw foil today and he looks soooo cute!”; or “I saw foil in the hall and I think he looked at me! My heart is still pounding!” Our crush lasted through the whole year of 10th Grade. That’s how I remember Frank Reynolds.”

“I remember when I was 17 going on a trip to California with Frank Reynolds and Tom Pettigrew. Also when I was 18 I moved to Juneau, Alaska and Frank Reynolds, Tom Pettigrew and Michael Downs moved in with me up there. We were there for years. Frank was a crazy fun purson. I remember one thing about him, he used to catch flies and eat them, which was definitely crazy, I also remember he was alot of fun.”
